Venue Information
Merchandise Sales:
Sales of merchandise will be permitted only by advance arrangement with the Lake Lanier Rowing Club. For your merchandise to be sold you MUST contact the Lake Lanier Rowing Club at 770-287-0077 and complete a vendor agreement.
Alcohol: Alcohol is not permitted at the Lake Lanier Olympic Center during the Head of Lanier.
Parking: The Tower side of the venue is available for parking of vehicles and buses. Additional parking will be available for a fee next to the boathouse
Team Tents: Team tents are permitted on the plaza above the Tower. In order to accommodate as many teams as possible tents must not be any larger than 10 feet (water side) by 20 feet. Teams requiring more space or teams that are going to be cooking food" will need to set-up tents in the park on the boathouse side of the venue.
Overnight Boat Storage: Clarks Bridge Park adjacent to the Lake Lanier Rowing Club boathouse is available for crew trailers. This area has easy access to the launching dock. Security will patrol the area during the night before the regatta.
Race Course: A 5000 metered buoyed racecourse that finishes at the permanent grandstands in front of the Olympic Tower.
