INTRODUCTION TO ROWING CLASSES FOR ADULTS

You don't have to be an Olympian to row on Lake Lanier....

Dates and Times:
*All classes meet for 10 sessions.
*There are 3 classes to choose from (see below).
*Lessons will last approximately two hours each day.

  • Class 1 - Ten (10) sessions; April 14 - June 2, 2007

Location:
We will be meeting at the Lake Lanier Rowing Center, site of the 1996 Olympic Rowing events. During the first session we will learn the basic motions of the rowing stroke on ergometers, and then take a swimming test. All participants must be able to tread water for ten minutes.

The second session, and all following sessions, will be held in boats on the water. If you are unable to attend the first session, you must bring a float test form signed by a lifeguard.

Please complete the Registration and Waiver Forms and return them with a check for $100 to:

If you become a full member of the Lake Lanier Rowing Club your $100 fee will apply to your first year's dues.

There is only room for twenty participants, so please register early! We will contact you if there is a problem with your registration, or if the class is full. Please assume you have been accepted into the class if you do not hear from us.
